Signature Horse Experience Trail Rides

This is not your average 1 hr trail ride, our fit and well conditioned horses will not be standing all day all tacked up waiting for guests to arrive.

This is more than a trail ride, this is an approximate 1 - 1.5 hr opportunity to get acquainted with the horse who will be taking you for a leisurely 3 km ride thru our well groomed and manicured forest trails and over varied northern terrain. You will be involved in getting and preparing them for the ride by grooming and tacking under our supervision. We will take some time to demonstrate how to handle and manage your horse on trail, as well as a brief description that will give you some insight into horse behavior and their predictability in order to ensure everyone is comfortable and confident to experience our little piece of Almaguin Highland paradise.

Pony walks - guide will lead horse on foot as we walk thru our trail loop for those too young (6 year old to 9 year old) its a great way and adds a bit of comfort for first time &  beginner riders new to experiencing horse back riding.

Parents or those along but not riding are welcome and encouraged to join us on the walk, free of charge and enjoy the trails and wildlife on foot.

We will begin accepting reservations for groups of 4 riders max starting May Long weekend until Aug 31st. Please no walk-ins, this is also our home and we will not be offering rides every hour. We will offer 2 rides daily - Wednesday thru Sunday. We will be closed for trail rides Monday and Tuesdays in order to give horses a break. Cost is $105 / rider, cash preferred (No interact/debit available)

Riders must:

  • be a minimum of 6 years old

  • weight no more then 250 pounds & physically fit

  • sign a release of liability waiver

  • booked by reservation only, No walk-ins will be accepted

  • helmets (will be provided) for those 18 yrs and younger they are mandatory. You may bring your own if it is ASTM/SEI rated
